Abstract
Data Management Plans (DMPs) [1] will be a key instrument for the application of FAIR data practice [2] as anchored in the new scientific data policy of the European XFEL. They will officially take effect with the proposal submission stage in 2025, but shall be rolled out in a pilot phase in collaboration with voluntary beamtime users.
