Abstract
The 9th call for proposals at European X-Ray Free-Electron Laser Facility (European XFEL) was open until Wednesday, 22 June 2022 16:00 (local Hamburg/Schenefeld time, CEST) for all 6 European XFEL scientific instruments currently in operation. A virtual information meeting on this call was hosted by the European XFEL User Organization Executive Committee (UOEC) on Thursday, 12 May 2022. Talk includes update of SCS instrument, including: SCS instrumentation for forward scattering geometries; science at SCS with FFT; FFT Experimental apparatus for XAS and SAXS / CDI; DSSC Detector for CDI, SAXS, XPCS Megahertz-rate Ultrafast X-ray; scattering and holographic imaging; Pi-MTE3 commercial detector option; EuXFEL APPLE-X (UE90) variable polarization at SA3; beam-splitting off-axis zone plate for shot-noise limited MHz transient absorption spectroscopy with the DSSC detector; CHEM-RIXS at the SCS instrument; CHEM experiment station with liquid-jet sample environment; time-Resolved RIXS standard configuration; optical delivery.
