The 9th call for proposals at European X-Ray Free-Electron Laser Facility (European XFEL) was open until Wednesday, 22 June 2022 16:00 (local Hamburg/Schenefeld time, CEST) for all 6 European XFEL scientific instruments currently in operation. A virtual information meeting on this call was hosted by the European XFEL User Organization Executive Committee (UOEC) on Thursday, 12 May 2022. Talk includes update of HED instrument, including: HED offer to users; HED beam transport; µm & nm focus CRL configuration; mosaic graphite von-Hamos spectrometer; interaction chambers 1 and 2; ePIX and JUNGFRAUHigh res-IXS instrument function; Pulsed Laser heating for DAC research; Streak Optical Pyrometry (SOP) to measure thermal emission; pump-probe (PP) laser; HI-OL: HiBEF ReLaX TW laser; HE-OL DIPOLE laser; possible experiments; standard configurations.
